Cancellation & Refund Policy

Subscription Cancellation

  • User-Initiated Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • Effect of Cancellation: After your current plan ends, your account will be downgraded to the Free Plan. Any unused credits will expire and won’t carry forward.
  • Auto-Renewal: All subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

Refund Policy

  • No Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial usage, unused credits, or mid-cycle downgrades.
  • Payment Failures: Accounts remain active for 30 days after a failed payment. After that, the account is disabled and remaining credits are forfeited.

Exceptions

We may review refund requests only in rare cases, such as:

  • Duplicate transactions caused by technical errors
  • Verified fraudulent charges

Please contact support@my.smartbills.app within 7 days to initiate a request.

Refund Processing Time: If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days and credited back to your original payment method.

Data Access After Cancellation

  • You may export your data before the end of your current billing cycle.
  • We retain your uploaded documents for up to 90 days post-cancellation unless required to delete them earlier by law.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India . All disputes are subject to arbitration in Mumbai .
